Day 101-115 – South West Region

Just a post to give a quick sum up of the week and a bit spent in the beautiful Margaret River region and surrounds with our respective lads which was awesome! Trundle and Finn took the Renault and Smash and Matt wrangled an almost 4WD to hire for 10 days together after the boys had finished with uni. It was as spectacular and diverse as we’d been led to believe, and it was a fantastic mini break from our not so mini break! From climbing giant trees to breathtaking beaches like nothing else and tasty wineries and breweries, to rocks and sand and hikes and campfires – the best. Once the lads had got their flights back home, we did some car maintenance in Bunbury, stocked up on fruit through the harvest highway via Bridgetown and Balingup, and made for the Nullarbor via Collie and the golden wheat belt region. Lots of driving ahead of us!
